This policy explains how RenoRender handles personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Account: your email address.
- Uploads: the floor plan and reference images you upload (compressed copies), and the layouts you create.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the purchase amount and status, not your card or bank details.
- Technical: basic server logs (IP address, browser type) kept for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it
To sign you in, generate and save your homes, process payments, prevent abuse, and reply to support requests. We don't sell your data or use your uploads for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your floor plan and images to generate the layout. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs are not used to train their models.
- Stripe — payments.
- Render — hosting and database.
- Resend — sends sign-in emails.
Some of these providers process data outside Singapore; we choose providers with comparable protection standards.
Floor plans are sensitive
A floor plan together with your address can reveal how to get around your home. We never ask for your address, and we recommend you don't include it in uploads. Only you can see your homes.
How long we keep it
Until you delete a home or your account. Deleting your account removes your email, homes, uploads and layouts from our database immediately; backups roll off within 30 days. Payment records are kept as required for tax and accounting.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by deleting it in the app or emailing us. We'll respond within 30 days.
